Fire has struck the Glasgow School of Art’s Mackintosh building just as it was recovering from a devastating blaze only four years ago.

More than 120 firefighters were sent to tackle a “significant” fire that has spread to several properties including the O2 ABC nightclub and caused “extensive damage”, according to the Scottish fire and rescue service (SFRS)
